Yes. This ornament is designed for any pet, whether you have a bird, a bearded dragon, a rabbit, a horse, or anything in between. If your pet has particularly unusual markings, colors, or features, mention it when you send your photo so I can make sure I capture what makes them distinctly yours.
How is this different from the dog or cat ornament?
It’s the same hand-painted glass ornament, just without the breed-specific framing. If you have a dog or cat, you’re welcome to order either version. This ornament exists mainly for pet parents whose companion isn’t a dog or cat, though plenty of dog and cat lovers order this one too.
What’s the difference between the glass ornament and the wood, acrylic, or disco ball versions?
They’re all hand-painted from your pet’s photo, just on different surfaces. The glass ball has a classic, iridescent finish. The wood slice is warmer and more natural. What if my pet has unusual markings or coloring?

Can this be a memorial ornament for a pet who has passed?
Yes, and I’m honored whenever a client trusts me with that. I approach memorial ornaments with extra care. If you’d like to talk through the details before ordering, I’m happy to do that.
How long does it take to receive my ornament?
Please allow four weeks from the time I receive your photo and order confirmation. Each ornament is painted by hand, one at a time, so I don’t rush the process.

An artist from childhood, Karen Hesselbach majored in Fine Art in college and has worked as a creative professional for more than 20 years, lending her talents to renowned brands that include Disney and Anthropologie. Equally a lover of animals (and OG dog mom to the second generation of high hounds and low hounds!), Karen parlayed that keen eye for color, form, and composition into the creation of her one-woman company in 2018, painting portraits and gifts that depict the fur babies of pet parents nationwide.
