Private Paint Your Pet Parties in (or Near) Orlando
For Birthdays, Corporate Teams, Apartment Communities & More
Most group events are forgettable. Another happy hour, another trivia night, another team lunch that everyone politely attends and quietly forgets by Monday.
Paint Your Pet classes are different. They’re personal. They’re joyful. And they’re the kind of experience people actually talk about — because they made something real, something that looks like their dog, their cat, the pet they just lost — with their own two hands.
Artist Karen Hesselbach brings her Paint Your Pet experience directly to your venue, your community, or your office. You bring the people. She handles absolutely everything else.
Is This the Right Event for Your Group?
If you’re planning a birthday party and want something more meaningful than another dinner out — yes.
If you manage an apartment community and need a resident event that actually drives turnout — yes.
If you’re an HR manager looking for a team-building activity your employees will genuinely enjoy, talk about, and remember — yes.
If you own or manage a bar, brewery, or restaurant and want a weeknight event that fills seats and creates energy — yes.
If you’re organizing a bachelorette weekend and want one experience that’s creative, relaxed, and completely unique — yes.
No art experience required. Ever. That’s not a disclaimer — it’s the whole point. Karen’s events are designed for people who have never picked up a paintbrush. The magic is in the surprise of what they create.

We hosted a Paint Your Pet Night at our apartment community, and Karen was fantastic—putting everyone at ease and helping each person capture their pet’s personality.

What Happens at a Paint Your Pet Event
Before the event, each guest submits a photo of their pet — a dog, a cat, a rabbit, a guinea pig, whoever holds the top spot in their heart. Karen hand-sketches each pet onto canvas so guests arrive to a personalized painting waiting for them.
During the 2 to 2.5-hour guided session, Karen leads everyone step by step through painting their pet’s portrait. She’s warm, encouraging, and genuinely gifted at helping first-timers surprise themselves. There’s no judgment, no pressure, and no “wrong” way to paint.
Every guest leaves with a finished, hand-painted portrait of their own pet — something they made themselves, that they’ll actually hang on the wall.
Everything is included:
- All canvases, paints, brushes, and materials.
- Karen’s full setup and breakdown.
- Step-by-step instruction throughout.
- A pre-sketched canvas for every guest.
All you need to provide: A space that fits your group and, ideally, some drinks. 😉 🐾

I’ve done two Paint Your Pet classes with High Hound Low Hound—so much fun! I have zero artistic talent, but Karen’s coaching made my paintings actually look like my pups. Highly recommend!
