On Friday, September 26, we’ll gather for a special Paint Your Pet workshop where you’ll turn your favorite pet photo into a custom portrait you’ll cherish forever.
Whether you’re a seasoned painter or picking up a brush for the very first time, this event is designed to be fun, approachable, and rewarding. Each participant will receive a personalized, pre-sketched canvas created from a photo of their pet submitted beforehand. With step-by-step guidance from a professional artist, you’ll bring your pet’s personality to life in a relaxed, creative setting.

📸 Pet photos must be submitted by September 25 at noon to ensure your canvas is prepared in time

Have two pets you want to adorn your canvas? Upgrade your experience and I can ensure both are ready for you to paint the night of the class. Be aware that due to the limited class time, you may not be able to finish painting both pets, but if you don’t, not to worry—I’ll send you home with your custom selection of paint colors so that you can finish the painting later, having learned all the how-tos in class!

After the successful purchase of your ticket(s) to Paint Your Pet at Maffrey’s, please send up to two (2) photos of your pet by 12:00 PM, Thursday, September 25, 2025, to karen@highhoundlowhound.com. These photos will be used to prepare your canvas so that on the day of the event, you can jump right into the painting fun!
