Looking for a creative way to celebrate your love for your pet? Join us in Ivanhoe Village for an intimate Paint Your Pet at Maffrey’s workshop that combines art, community, and a whole lot of tail-wagging inspiration!
You’ll paint a charming portrait of your pet—no previous art experience necessary. Each guest receives a custom, pre-sketched canvas of their pet created from a photo you submit in advance. You’ll be guided step-by-step by a professional artist who specializes in pet portraits.

I will guide you through the painting process, from selecting colors to adding those special details that make your pet unique. I’ll be there to support you every brushstroke of the way, ensuring a fun and stress-free experience.

Have two pets you want to adorn your canvas? Upgrade your experience and I can ensure both are ready for you to paint the night of the class. Be aware that due to the limited class time, you may not be able to finish painting both pets, but if you don’t, not to worry—I’ll send you home with your custom selection of paint colors so that you can finish the painting later, having learned all the how-tos in class!

After the successful purchase of your ticket(s) to Paint Your Pet at Maffrey’s, please send up to two (2) photos of your pet by 12:00 PM, Thursday, August 7, 2025, to karen@highhoundlowhound.com. These photos will be used to prepare your canvas so that on the day of the event, you can jump right into the painting fun!
