During this engaging two-hour session, you’ll transform a blank canvas into a charming, personalized portrait of your pet. No artistic experience necessary! I’ll guide you through every step of the process:
- Personal Canvas Preparation: Before the event, I’ll sketch your pet’s likeness directly onto your canvas, giving you the perfect starting point
- Color Selection Guidance: Learn how to choose and mix colors that best capture your pet’s unique features
- Technique Instruction: Master simple painting techniques specifically designed for pet portraits
- Finishing Touches: Add those special details that make your pet unique
By the end of the evening, you’ll have a finished portrait to take home and display proudly!

Have two pets you want to adorn your canvas? Upgrade your experience and I can ensure both are ready for you to paint the night of the class. Be aware that due to the limited class time, you may not be able to finish painting both pets, but if you don’t, not to worry—I’ll send you home with your custom selection of paint colors so that you can finish the painting later, having learned all the how-tos in class!

As a professional visual artist with a passion for pets, I majored in Fine Art in college and I bring over 20 years of creative experience to this event. My background includes working with renowned brands like Disney and Anthropologie, and I’ve been running my own company since 2018, specializing in whimsical pet portraits and unique gifts. I’m excited to share my skills with you and help you create a beautiful painting of your beloved pet.
